Care guide

Just like us, balloons will still need a little care and loving to keep them looking their best for your event.

We do our upmost best to deliver and display them in a beautiful luxurious shine, but please do bare in mind that they will have a "shelf life" as such when it comes to the question of "how long will my balloons last?" question.

Below are a few things to consider .

Weather

weather your a person or balloon it will always have an effect! As we all know the weather in this country has its own mind and agenda  and can affect balloons in a few different ways, so just a few things to take into consideration when purchasing from us.

The cold air effects foil and helium balloons.

Helium floats due to it being thinner then air, but when it becomes cold it makes helium more dense, which makes it heavier then air, causing your balloon to shrink slightly. Do not fear, as once it is back in the warmth it will become plump once more.

In warm weather latex balloons will typically only last a day when being outside. As the latex will start to biodegrade due to the sun and heat. Where possible we do advise lighter colours be used  for outdoor displays as they reflect the sun. where as Darker colours are more prone to absorbing the heat and will change colour more quickly and are likely to pop.

We always under inflate our balloons as the heat causes  them to expand, , so when this happens they have more room to breath (grow) and are less likely to pop. This is the case for both  air filled balloons and helium balloons.

Windy weather is a bit of an enemy for balloons  as you can imagine so we would typically advise against outdoor displays if its too windy , outdoor balloons work much better  secured within a fixed garland, to stop them from being battered. however if the weather permits, helium displays can be used. but please be mindful this may not be an option depending on the conditions of the day.

We advise against

*Any Sharpe objects coming into contact or around your balloons/ display, sounds obvious doesn't it ? but you would be surprised !

*Direct heat,  please be careful of spot lights, especially with ceiling balloons, spot lights may become hot after a few hours use and your helium balloons will most defiantly pop if they are too close.

*Avoid balloons Being trapped, either in car boots or in tight spaces such as doorways where you may need to drag them.

*Being left in garages overnight or in cars where they could become to hot or too cold depending on what our lovely weather is doing!!!
