Terms and conditions 1. General Terms  1.1 / Your booking is not confirmed Until Lily and Lyle events receive your deposit of 50% if  booking value is over £100 or full payment if under £100. 1.2/ By placing a booking/order with us and making a payment  it is deemed that the customer has read understood and agrees to Lily and Lyle events Terms and Conditions outlined here. 1.3/ Lily and Lyle events cannot be held responsible for any circumstances that may prevent us from attending your event, this may include but not limit to severe weather conditions, traffic delays, breakdown of vehicle, sickness or equipment failure. In the event of us not being able to attend or fulfill your order due to circumstances beyond our control we will contact you and or the venue as soon as possible. In these instances our liability will be limited to refunding of monies paid. 2. Prices, Deposit & Balance Payments 2.1/ All Orders are subject to a deposit of 50% of the order value. 25% of the total order value is a non refundable Booking Fee. 2.2/ All orders are subject to a balance paid in full and cleared 48 hours prior to the event start date. If any changes are requested by the customer before the start of the event , it is at the discretion of Lily and Lyle Events to accommodate these changes we will always try our very best to. Any changes proposed by Lily and Lyle Events will need to be accepted ,refunded or paid  as to what's been changed and agreed. 2.3/ Advertised prices are subject to change without prior notice. 2.4/ We offer free delivery within a 5 mile radius of DA1 1UP. Any additional milage is subject to a Delivery fee of £1.50 per mile if items are delivered by small car or £2.00 per mile if items are delivered by van. 3. Cancellations3.1/ Any cancellation charges are subject to the following charges:      Less than 14 days prior to event 50% of order value.      Less than 7 days prior to event 75% of order value.      Less than 72 hours prior to event 100% of order value.       These values include the 25% non refundable booking fee.3.2/ All refunds will be processed within 2 to 5 working days.3.3/ Alternatively customers can keep their full order value as a credit note valid for 6 months from the date of request approved.  4. Goods & Properties4.1/ Lily and Lyle Events reserve the right to substitute hired equipment of a similar type and value without notice in the event of previous damage or loss of booked equipment.4.2/ All sizes quoted are approximate.4.3/ All goods remain the property of Lily & Lyle Events at all times. 4.4/ Lily & Lyle events reserves the right to amend or alter any product specification without prior notice. 5. Site Location, Facilities & Conduct5.1/ Hired equipment will be set up in the location only as agreed on arrival and will not be moved once setup. Please ensure there is sufficient space at your venue to setup the goods. Equipment Cannot be moved by the hirer or third party after it has been set up (excluding electrical equipment being moved from outdoor to indoor).5.2/ It is your responsibility to obtain permission at your venue to use any electrical equipment. 5.3/ Please inform us of any circumstances that would make setting the goods up more demanding, including going up/down stairs, long distances from unloading area to venue etc. We allocate a set period of time for setting up our equipment at your venue which is included within your price. 5.4/ It is the you the client's  responsibility to ensure Lily and Lyle events equipment is kept safe from damage from time of arrival until time of agreed pick up. 5.5/ The company reserves the right to cease operation and remove hired equipment from site if at any time a representative of the company feels that the guests or client's conduct endangers the safety of the guest, client's themselves or of the hired equipment. In such cases no refund will be given and full contracted fees will be due to the company. 6. Liability & Insurance6.1/ The client agrees to cover the company for any damage or theft of the company's Equipment whilst on hire. 7. All Other Terms & Conditions 7.1/ Lily & Lyle events may use any of the photograph's from the event suitable for suitable means : this includes but is not limited to advertising and promotional material either in print or internet. Attending your event would mean that you have agreed to and granted the company permission to do so by yourselves and your guests. 7.2/ By booking with Lily & Lyle events means you agree to all our terms and conditions. Please contact us if you are unclear on any of our terms and conditions before you book us for your event. We are happy to answer any questions you may have. 8. Re - Booking8.1/ We will do our very best to rebook your event for dates available. We will only allow rebooking of your event once,  subject to availability. An additional fee will be charged for multiple date changes 9. Damages 9.1/ Any damages to our products while in your care will be bookers responsibility to cover costs of damage to repair or replace products. Any damages to goods will be quoted for to repair/replace. This includes damages or loss of props and accessories.
