Environment & safety

Our Balloons and the environment

Here at Lily and Lyle whilst we love creating beautiful big and small designs for our clients we would kindly ask that you dispose of them in the correct manner by deflating and disposing of into the bin. Although we use only 100% biodegradable quality balloons we do not offer balloons for balloon releases as these can still case harm to both nature and our beautiful wildlife. However we do offer bespoke memorial balloons upon request.

Safety around balloons Latex allergies

Sadly latex can cause skin irritation and in some cases anaphylaxis in those with a latex allergy, so it is highly important to consider this when using latex balloons for your display. We would not recommend using latex in a room where there is someone with a latex allergy , however we can offer an alternative of using foils, deco bubbles or bobos which are long lasting and can look equally as beautiful . Latex Balloons Whilst the balloons once inflated do not cause any significant risk something to bare in mind is once they are uninflated they can cause a choking hazard. We advise children under the age of 8 to be supervised at all times and deflated balloons to be disposed of correctly.

Balloon Valves

Balloon vales are the part of the balloon used to tie it up at the bottom also know as "balloon necks". These can also present  a choking hazard so these are also to be disposed of correctly.
